Use the steps below to request deletion of your Brainyapp account and associated data. This page is provided to meet Google Play requirements and applies to Brainyapp users worldwide.

How to request deletion

Email us from the email address associated with your Brainyapp account.
Use the subject line “Delete my Brainyapp account”.
Include your username (and user ID if known) to help us locate your account.

I understand that certain records may be retained to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligations.

What will be deleted

Account profile: username, email address, age, and optional profile fields.
Gameplay & progress: scores, stats, daily test results, friends/relationships.
Cloud-stored data associated with your account.

What may be retained and why

Purchase and billing records (e.g., Google Play order metadata/purchase tokens) kept as required for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention.
Server and security logs (including IP addresses and timestamps) typically retained for up to 90 days for security and reliability.
Aggregated/anonymised analytics that no longer identifies you.

When deletion is requested, we generally delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, subject to legal obligations. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.

Verification & timeline

For your security, we may ask you to verify your request via a reply to our confirmation email.
We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days.
